About Us

Hey there!

Welcome to Mosaic Minds, a space of genuine passion for helping folks navigate the wonderfully weird, occasionally wacky, and always fascinating journey of mental well-being.

Let's face it, life can throw some serious curveballs. Sometimes you feel like you're juggling flaming chainsaws while riding a unicycle on a tightrope over a pit of alligators (metaphor alert!).

That's where we come in.

We're not here to judge your juggling skills (though some tips might be offered โ€“ safety first!), but to offer a safe space, a listening ear, and maybe even a few well-placed giggles (enough to rival Chandler Bing's sarcasm). After all, laughter truly is the best medicine (unless you have a broken arm, then see a doctor โ€“ seriously).

Think of us as your mental health pit crew. We'll help you identify any wobbly tires (negative thoughts), tighten those emotional lug nuts (coping mechanisms), and maybe even give your inner engine a good tune-up (life management strategies).

Our goal? To get you back on the road, feeling empowered and ready to tackle whatever life throws your way.

So, if you're feeling a little lost, a lot overwhelmed, or just plain need a mental health check, don't hesitate to reach out.

We'll equip you with a toolbox full of therapeutic techniques (evidence based) to navigate life's inevitable curveballs, celebrate your victories (no matter how small! Just like Michael Scott celebrating Dundie Awards), and help you rewrite your inner critic's script from villainous monologue to inspirational pep talk.

And remember, you're braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think (thanks, Winnie the Pooh!).

Here's to your mental well-being!

Warmly,

Mahika Bakshi

Meet Your Therapist

Hey there!

I'm Mahika Bakshi (she/her), a counselling psychologist by profession (MSc Counselling Psychology with 4 years of work experience), well-being advocate by nature, and creative soul at heart.

I'm a firm believer of your inner strength to heal and grow!  I seek to meet you where you are and support you through the discoveries you make in the therapeutic space. Together, we can navigate the path towards a more fulfilling and empowered you. I adopt an eclectic approach and tailor make interventions as per your unique needs. My main therapeutic orientation however is Cognitive Behavior Therapy.

In my free time, you might find me with a book, resting under the stars, creating art, belting out tunes, or cuddling with my furry co-pilot.  I'm a lifelong learner who's always up for change and growth, but one thing stays the same - I'm unapologetically myself!
